r ess

Recommended Posts

Earlier, at about 2am, I listened to Oversteps for the first time. As usual when listening to something all the way through, I switched the lights off, and lay down in bed with my MP3 player. No distractions. First track was r ess. As it began, I waited and waited in silence, anticipating something amazing. Twenty seconds had passed, still nothing. I waited more. One minute goes by, still nothing. I start to wonder if there's something wrong. Two minutes, and finally I discover that the earphones are not properly plugged into my MP3 player. I push them in, and hear the most beautiful noise, realizing what had happened. So I started the track again, and I still had to wait thirty seconds for anything to happen.

Totally worth it. Great start to a great album.
