Any word on a flac/wav for the Domino set? Proswell wants to try his hand at a remaster. (he's been remastering shit professionally for a long time now and could probably do a decent job)

The same Proswell who used to be on Merck? Had a couple great albums back in the day.

Yup, the same Proswell. He also has a newer album you probably haven't heard, Bruxist Frog. Oh and he did a remaster of Konami which brought it a whole new life considering how old that album is. Both are free on the internets (Konami is on bandcamp as a pay what you want download). Konami (2009 Remaster)

it's lost forever; they stated many times they dont save their sets ... but sometimes pull down old recordings (by fans)

i don't buy that for 1 second that they delete everything. why would they do that? didnt thy make quari from live recorded stuff?

lol, just like Pritchard claiming he wrote "Surfing On Sine Waves" and then DELETED all the sounds used to make it in some interview....BWAAAAHAHAHAHA Richie--Rock n' Roll!

what about the scotish guy who claimed the 256mp3 of Glasgow 2005 sounds as good as his wav file ? that would be a file to hunt (the wav not the mp3 for mastering purpose).

I'm currently using iMovie to extract the video of the gig from Sony DV tape.

Any tips on mastering this baby onto a decent mp3?

I usually just use iMovie to grab the wav file, then Audacity to convert to mp3. Maybe there's a better way?

There's nothing to see on the vid by the way..... just some l.e.d's. Maybe i shouldv've pointed the camera at the crowd! (i was in the balcony and the sound is pretty decent so far)

Yep, the sound was really good at the button factory. Only thing is it could have been a tad louder, not mind numbingly loud, just enough to compliment the massive-ness of the beats. The one thing i got worried about did unfortunately happen, and that was that i got bored after 20/30 mins. There's savage stuff in the sets....but i just couldn't stand seeing everyone standing there like fucking corpses, and with the relentless nature of the set i kinda just got bored with the vibe. Although, it'd only be fair to point out that i was full of bavaria, guinness, laphraoig and johnny walker black at this stage, so i was up to 90 and wanted to dance and buzz. Still though, there's stunning moments in the set, but the past two tours topped it for me. If you could merge this and the last tour set, i think you'd have a stunner of a set.....some people might say it's a good thing that it's full-on the whole way through, but i think it just got a little tedious.

^Which kills me to say BTW, because Autechre live sets are far and away my favourite thing in the world of electronic music...

not available!

Hey thats what i do - you can thank the world wide economic slump and the redundancy i got last year!

Before anyone starts - my good italian friend is doing most of the "yaaaaay" in the audience. Sue him for enjoying himself! :)

Many thanks for the Dublin set. I think we have all been spoiled with the recordings from this tour.
