mcbpete
Man it really is an amazing little track (Although the drum loop lets it down somewhat). If they slightly altered the drums to something slightly less repetitive it would be one of the finest BoC tracks ever created. So much emotion contained in such a little track. lumpenprol
My favorite BoC track, along with Kid For Today. It is so fragile and perfect I don't listen to it much, for fear of spoiling the effect. I've heard other people talk about what song they'd want played at their funeral, well, this is mine. It is simply beyond words. Too bad they don't make tracks like this anymore. It always makes me wonder what other perfect tracks might be hidden in hooper bay, acid memories, closes, etc. I bet there are a couple. It always makes me wonder what other perfect tracks might be hidden in hooper bay, acid memories, closes, etc. I bet there are a couple. yeah.. this is so what makes BOC great. it's simple, yet complex and has several layers of meaning.. it just sets off so many memories for me.. being outside all day playing as a kid, in the middle of summer, and at the end of the day when it begins getting colder and the sky turns orange. what i feel BOC brings me back to the most are those really short timeless moments, when you for instance stopped and looked at the sky or the sun, felt the wind.. seeing the sun like this, this is soo BOC: http://www.atpm.com/6.08/konstanz/images/sunset.jpg as a little kid i lived in the southern parts of sweden where it was slightly rural.. was outside in nature alot, and the summerdays are just so beautful near the sea there. lots of little islands and shit, with old bunkers and stuff on them too. it reminds me of AMIGA's and early tape recorders that my brothers recorded stuff with, old equipment.. the 90's just began when i was little, i don't know why but i seriously love old looking electronic equipment like tape players.. the "futuristic" design back then, the stuff you saw in science magazines.. that orange color of japanese robots for instance. what i don't understand is how BOC can affect you so damn much. tec
This is such an amazing track, I know a few of the purists look down on people for getting 'Old Tunes' as BoC never meant for it to be heard by the public but it would be awful for a fan to never hear this.
