I enjoy the fragility of the rolling lol tbh. The broken lol is like our own mortality staring us in the face, reminding us to enjoy that sunset.

Mark Van Hoen - Where Is The Truth

Mark Van Hoen - Playing With Time

Chris Weisman & Greg Davis - Northern Songs

Gavin Bryars - After The Requiem

Gavin Bryars - The Sinking Of The Titanic

the first three Stars Of The Lid albums

various Philip Glass albums

The Sight Below - It All Falls Apart

4 Roy Montgomery albums

bunch of other stuff during the latest What.cd freeleech weekend

And to Mesh Gear Fox, money doesn't grow on trees. I'm sure most people here buy music when they can, including myself (i. e. I bought 2 Gavin Bryars albums the other day, the new Jonas Reinhardt a few weeks ago, as well as 4 albums from Boomkat during their clearance).

Yeah, I am in debt from all the Vinyl, CDs and MP3s I Purchased last year and even some this year. I try to purchase what I really enjoy and like when I have the money, when I don't, I download it. If I come across the money to buy it and it's still available, I do so. I also go to shows when an artist I like is playing near where I live.

I just purchased the new Autchre CD and a Bibio CD at best buy last week. I also bought DMX Krew - The March To The Stars CDr last week as well. I also pay ($19.99) for 50 eMusic downloads a month. So yeah I pirate music, but I buy music too.

Now there is a lot of good legally downloadable music out there as well. I recommend going to last.fm and downloading everything by little-scale and Pogo.

Everything by Locust Toybox, aka David Firth. Seriously, this stuff is awesome. All of his albums are available on his website for free: http://www.fat-pie.com/locust/

Check out A Kettle of Wealth and Inkbrush, and if you like it, get everything else. Favourite tracks:

how about buying music?

just a thought.

Not everyone is implying that the downloaded music wasn't purchasing it first. Services like bleep etc...are technically downloaded albums.

I don't purchase a lot of my music, but I usually end up buying the stuff I like the most.

in that case have you heard king tubby and jacob miller's "jacob miller in dub/e-e saw dub"? so sick. and unrelated, but keith hudson's "playing it cool and keeping it right" is also excellent.
