I haven't seen any of this yet since it premieres this weekend in the States, but I am excite.

Is the Space Whale the same Space Whale that was getting perpetually slaughtered in that Torchwood episode?

Didn't know there was another episode tonight. I figured the Easter one was a special one-off before the new series started.

But yeah, after having only seen the first episode, there was definitely a bit of about him. Still, even a paedo is massively superior to That Cunt Tennant.

Yes, the new series of Doctor Who is brilliant, and Matt Smith is the best Doctor ever - and I've watched them all. I love his mix of Troughton and Tom Baker's maniacal behaviour.

RE: explain this - no different than Colin Baker (Doctor #6) appearing as a Citadel Guard during Peter Davison's (Doctor #5) time, or Freema appearing as her cousin in Doomsday and then as Martha in Smith and Jones. In fact, that's the first clear image of her I've seen since the episode aired - most casual watchers wouldn't notice nor care.

I hate it when they do that kind of stuff , it messes with me brain , fucking plot holes.

I think putting Matt Smith above Tom Baker or Jon Pertwee is a bit much*, but I am pleasantly surprised at just how good he's been. Better than David Tennant already, easily. And Dalek Tommies ftw.

*However, Amy Pond is head and shoulders the fittest companion ever. Plus I love redheads.

the new doctor who is great, he seems to be great actor, his clothes are great, and amy pond is very sexy, i'd like to fill her pond with my spawn, she's the same age as me, does that mean i have a chance? do you think her lady bits smell fresh? do you smith is well hung? tenant was good but i always wanted to punch him, he was too cutesy. i loved the floating england with the towers saying 'surrey'

i like him. just wish the writing was a little better but it's doctor who so can't complain too much.

I like his voice, mannerisms, and overall 'otherworldliness' that he brings to the part - he looks like an alien, acts like one, etc. Not since Tom Baker has The Doctor seemed so... alien. And I think that's what makes The Doctor, well, The Doctor - not just some guy pretending to be from another world, another time...

And how can you complain about the writing? Since Moffat's taken over, the writing is as good, if not better than anything Russel T Davies could put out - and that's saying a lot. Trust me, by the time this season is over, nobody will even fondly recall Tennant or the past 4 years. And I liked Tennant - a lot.

i wasn't comparing to other doctor who writers. just good writing in general. doctor who is pretty shoddy, very predictable usually but entertaining and funny enough that you usually can get past it.

He actually went to school with a load of my mates. One says he was lovely and very nice (who is generally a people person anyway). My housemate says he was tempted to let his tyres down once as he was so immensely annoying (not so much a people person). I never met him so will never know! Looks like an alright bloke though

9/10 - Loved "The Victory of the Daleks" , it was fun , good storyline. I wanted to see more WW2 combat , but oh well , their budget is small, i guess they are forgiven.

The new Daleks are pretty cool.

It was kind of awkward to watch this episode of Doctor Who , because fucking Amy Pond was dressed like a fucking prostitute!!!. All i was thinking while watching this episode was how i was going to gently take that skirt off and fuck her pussy 'till the end of times (flap flap)

WW2 Airplanes in space was kind of cool also , but For A Moment There I Thought i was watching star wars.
