PRO TIP: Don't go to Watmm for weed growing tips

This lol. And yeah, any weed you grow this way will most likely just give you a headache and not much else.

no one flames for Babar saying "into" instead of "in" in the thread title? i guess i'm not into the loop

i thought it was a krakauer reference

same lol.

and weed is quite shitty like this, unless you really know how to care for them, and doing that, especially to an outdoor crop, would only make the situation more sketchy. i'd shell out the extra bucks for a indoor kit, plus it'd be safer and you'd probably get nicer buds.

thanks but i'm not growing weed indoor. My friend is. but he only has room for 10 plants,..;

Also i have to disagree with people telling me my crop is going to be shitty. I think most of pot's characteristic stems from genetic features, not from the way you grow it. Actually i grew 2 female plants in my garden last summer, and they were quite good considering they got pollenated. I also planted behind my house a few years back, but the plants started to bloom while they were still tiny. I had to left the house for a couple weeks, and when i came back they were all dried out of life. One day i got bored and decided to try smoking some. It was the best weed i ever smoked : probably not the strongest, but the effects were very high and i laughed my ass off for a good hour.

Watever...i need water. Traditionally weed likes hot sunny day with a good shower when night falls : it's a tropical plant right ? As i said, I could plant near streams, but i don't want to waste my crop by planting in a too humid place that would cause the roots to rot away. I heard there is weed in afghanistan but the country doesn't seem to be especially rainy. How do they manage to grow weed in these conditions then ?

etc..

etc...

*opens wild*

*gets into it*

*drives off*

If you have a warm climate, they will survive and grow, but it will be shitty weed

also weed has to get less and less sunhours for it to start budding, otherwise they'll veg for most part of the year, and bud in autumn

sorry but it's the other way around. the reason people clone plants is because usually only 2-3 out of 10 seeds will end up being surviving females

The best way to get them going is to start at a 16/8 light cycle (16 hours of light). Plants grow at night, so you have to leave some time for it. Flowering (or budding) occurs only when the light cycle changes from a longer amount to 12/12 hours (summer) - which would be the same as in the tropics year round. So, planting now would make sense.

so how about growing a pot plant in a pot, indoors? more as a houseplant/conversation piece than a potential weed source... would it grow with just dirt and water?

yes, its a hardy motherfucka

yea it will grow fine.. the issue is timing the flowering right but it might just do it on its own. sometimes, the growth can stunt and they can turn hermaphroditic if the light cycles get confused. the key is to get a timer and to have it in it's own room. but, indoor is definitely the way to go.
