next Iphone 4 leak real!

Recommended Posts

various manufacturers have long since surpassed the tech on the iphone, even the described spec of the new iphone, most notably nokia.

the only thing they haven't managed to exceed is apples talent for slick design.

the functionality of the last iphone 3g was fucking laughable compared to even relatively cheap older models by other manufacturers.

actually, maddox did a (relatively) amusing compare and contrast between one of the old 'fold out' nokias and the iphone.

all said, you can snort lines off an iphone, now that's progress.

is it ok that i still don't fucking care about iphones and all that shit?

apple is shit. i'm really tired of hearing news stories about this-or-that application being denied by apple because it doesn't live up to their standards. steve jobs probably started crying like a little baby when he saw the gizmodo report because he hadn't even seen the new product yet.

gizmodo did fail by buying stolen merchandise, but regardless, proprietary hardware needs to go the way of the dinosaur.

yeh it's the hardware and the industrial design combined with very good marketing, and of course software. they are very far ahead in combining these factors efficiently.

you can hate on their success as much as you want,

fun fact: apple wins early early 21st century computing by a huge margin.

yea, i think its mostly the software. the challenge of moving all your info from phone to phone is gone when you stick with apple. they get you inside their circle and you stay there

It doesnt do everything though, thats the point.

yep this and they successfully turn developers into drooling, somewhat happy slaves.

exactly. they can change how things work with their phones and force people into change. case in point is flash. they will not bend with flash on the iphone so guess whats going to happen to flash?

Yes, nothing to do with explorer and mozilla working on browsers that dont use flash. Or because flash is a horrible unstable programme.

that is true but do you think if apple embraced flash, they would still have a major problem on their hands?

Still doesnt change the fact that there is a massive gap in the market for a decent programme.

Sure everything adobe make is bollox.

but adobe is in a simialar situation with a lot of creative professionals. no matter what they do, we still have to use photoshop & illustrator. ask quark and corel how well competing against them works.

im not disagreeing with you really, im just saying apple makes it easy for the average user. a motorola phone with a google os working with a microsoft os on a dell computer in a third party music program is never going to be as seamless as apple when they make everything work in sync.

If were talking about the average user then you're right. But the average user is a retard.

there are probably close to 30 million iphone users out there which accounts for a shit ton of average users/retards.

apple users are exactly that: average users.

So just how much can journalists get away with by pulling the "but I'm a journalist" card? It's clear that everything the journalist did was illegal... I really think gizmodo is wrong in all of this...
