Well, “Chasing the Shadow of Bryn Jones” would make a great digital dump for sure.

A vinyl release of the entire AFx cloud dump might be titled “Trainspotting the Taint of The Tuss”, perhaps.

theres lots to explore over repeated listening to Soisong and the Threshold Houseboys Choir.......

it was the almost realized 4gig+ release which is gutting, but i'm just grateful for everything that went into putting out Colour Sound Oblivion. Its an almighty archive in itself and presented/made with next-level attentive care, which is rare. If you got one of the 1st run the goodies were all sorts of personal treasure, the white fluffy costume garment thingys, sigils & hand-drawn ephemera. You hear & see how sounds/performances evolved & the Moscow/Paris/Dublin gigs are proper, plus (check the archive link above) CSO 15/16 have virtually every single graphic/video backdrop and 1 or 2 that arent on any other official release. The visual aspect is half the fun and deeply disturbing/visceral at times, but in an immersive way that really draws you in.

Discogs has it priced now at between £360-£660:

This may have come up before, but just incase it hasn't, I was listening to AYOR and I heard Quoth sampled in the background.

I love this live version.

Doesn't surprise me, Peter was a big Aphex fan. I met him in NYC at an Aphex gig in 1997. We discussed his love for the twin and how they were trying to contact RDJ for a remix.

there are a few versions of Sick Mirrors going round that used to precede AYOR,,,,, all out hurdy-gurdy/Breton-pipes madness with a theme about encountering some kind of demonic presence while dog-walking <---Barbara Woodhouse eat your <3 out

Brilliant, that would have been on hell of a mix if Richard done one up for them, kinda wish it happened now.

Ah yes, those versions of Sick Mirrors that are available from the CSO boxset are mind blowing. I had an incredible experience with DMT listening to Sick Mirrors (and another time using Sleeper II and Red Queen for the DiMiTri playlist.) Sick Mirrors would have suited on The Remote Viewer release no bother with the Hurdy Gurdy sturdyness from Cliff Stapleton.

Sick Mirrors and AYOR live combo:

Stephen Thrower's had some interesting film articles/bits in the Guardian over the last few years. First link is a general delve into the relationship between film scores/music and the 2nd is a much more Jess Franco focused piece........

What is this I have read about Mike Tyson entering the ring to a Coil track once? Was that ever confirmed?

Stoked to watch OA II. The movement thing never bothered me, anyone familiar with Druidic studies will recognize the importance of movement to get to higher planes.

both are pretty articulate writers/researchers too

Ossian Brown did a mint book called "Haunted Air", based/themed on & around collections of olde Halloween Americana portraits (with a foreword by David Lynch no less).
