Just to put a nail in it, yes the merck version was done by the person merck who also started the label merck. Before Kid for Today came out we had a short mp3 sample and we could already tell this track was going to be fucking amazing. So merck took that and patched together a version for us to listen to constructed of the sample which actually turned out quite good and held us over till it came out properly. Nice one Merck.

no, both are remixes BoC did of other artist's work.

Yeah...I kinda thought "Huh?" with Mr Tree's post as well. I mean, if YOU had the chance to get your hands on a bona-fide, one-off BoC rarity, wouldn't you have copied the inlay, as well as the music?

Admittedly, I could also have sent it to a laboratory, for DNA extraction porpoises...but, uh, that woulda been a bit creepy.

Anyways, glad it's been of interest...sorta.
