she doesn't have a dick - that was, i think, some carefully-orchestrated media fuckery. depending on where some people work they mightn't have a choice regarding what radio they listen to. i think she's interesting, even if most of her music is terrible. she is sort of serving as a filter - serving watered-down versions of weird arty stuff to a popular culture type audience. sort of a david bowie lite. she's definitely more in touch with what's fashionable than madonna, who's just scary now, and who i can kinda see her replacing in the pop culture pantheon.
