Alright, enough is enough. There have been TWO members in the last several days complaining that they don't know how to pick up women.

Neither one of them is ugly...they just lack confidence.

Let's help our brethren out of their drought.

I'll go first by admitting my own embarrassing story: I split with my wife three years ago. I was with her for the wrong reasons. I made a vow to myself to never be with someone "just because there is nobody else" ever again.

I'll admit it. I read the PUA books. I went sarging a few times. But you know what? The less creepy and more realistic little tips helped. I started paying attention to how I dressed. I got in the gym more, and tanned once a week during the winter. I made sure to keep busy with interesting hobbies and activities. I was more assertive when talking to the ladies. I learned how to read the subtle cues from a woman that make courting more efficient.

Simply put, you have to learn to maximize what you have to work with. You can't win'm all, but you certainly can learn not to fumble on the one yard line...

i can read a woman so well, but as i've gained weight i've noticed that the readings have gone from "oh dear that boy i am interested, do want," to "that boy is staring at me and i am disgusted/creeped out" or at least that's what my paranoid brain tells me

i have found over the years that girls like me a lot, i think it has to do with my problems with my mom, but for real recently my inability to step outside of the box and be brave and make a move has been pretty bad

so if you guys could help me with that problem specifically, like how to stop staring at the ground and speak up

i just want to go on dates, i don't mind being rejected just i need to figure out the best way to chill out and do something about it

i would like to share stories of rejection from over the past month or two

last weekend i was at a club outside...i had injested 100 mg of adderall and was zoning out a little bit. i started to stare at this woman...she stared back. then i made a strange face at her and she kind of popped her eyes back in a way that said to me "i see your face but i do not find you attractive"

she then proceeded to walk towards me and asked me for a cigarette. she was well aware that i was going to give her the cigarette. i wish i could have gone back and said something cool or funny to put her down. that would have evened the playing field. because now, seeing it, she had the power in that moment. to get caught up on power is not a problem i don't think. it's just reality of these situations. for some people it comes naturally.

so i gave her the cigarette, and she asked for a lighter, i sat in silence and gave her a lighter. she said thank you and walked back to her group. i was too zoned out to care too much, but i did note that the interaction hadn't gone in a way that benefitted me in the least.

then one of my female friends drunkly came out and sat next to me. i think this may have given me a point or two, but i still lost the game.

yes, this is how i see it, it is a game - when it comes to anything but true love - there is a game - when it comes to sexual advances and male aggression vs. female confusion etc - it is a game.

actually maybe i should read that book, but i have a friend who raves about it and he is a virgin so i do not believe it could be of much value. also i feel like it is disgusting and wrong in some ways.

Im guessing most females would tend not to find males that drew up a plan of attack on an internet forum that attractive. Tho, failing that, get yourself a regional accent and move to a city, it seems to help.

In times like this, it's best to just cue up Pat Benatar and have a wank first.
