Anyway, England are fucked so who are you guys going to support now?

We aren't gonna beat Slovenia are we ffs, they are top of the group and we can barely make a fucking draw against the other two teams in the group.

I'm gonna support Slovenia if England go out purely for the lols.

I think its time holland got some glory. And they're not all too bad off at the moment.

Like I said in a knee-jerk reaction to the draw against Algeria, I'd actually rather we lost this one. Just put us out of misery rather than building hope before we go out in the next round anyway.

I'm at work so I'm not going to watch it... Which probably means it will be an awesome match.

If he plays our right formation then I don't see why we can't finally get the engine going.

the ref was dishing out cards left and right in the last game. where does FIFA find these bush league refs? for a tournament with the best teams, i would expect them to have the best refs as well. it's clear that the refs from the lesser countries are not cut out for officiating on such a big stage.

Spain are so confident in possession, and every player has the ability to dribble as close to their feet as possible, that it enables the attacking midfielders to run wherever they want and carve defences up.

Honduras aren't giving them any competition, as you'd expect, but it's still exhilarating football.

Spain are incredibly lucky to be in a golden period. This generation have grown out of the system of the late 90's and early 00's Spanish league in which they began attracting the best players in the world. Previously it had been Italy who attracted the best players and they too had a golden generation in the early 90's.

It is doesn't hurt that almost half of these players have come through the same football schools.

Amazing stuff. And well deserved. I fancy Spain to get better and better from here.
