nah it's ok. I sometimes enjoy writting down a patterns or two. I'm mostly very bad at making music and I tend to think fruity loops is what is best suited for me for a simple reason : the half-baked "embedded" piano roll (there are two) allows you to place only one note per beat. This way you don't need to delete a note before replacing it with another one – this is a small detail but it matters to me. And the TS-404 had some cool behavior although being ultraflat.

agreed. I don't like FL studio myself, but obviously if this kid can make use of it at this age likely there will be some sort of natural progression for him to better studio tools and music.

Props to kids these days for actually applying themselves (sometimes LOL)

hey now. one of my favorite albums was done in fl studio. an old version. made on a laptop.

that kid is actually pretty talanted for his age, i mean, the music's fucking shite, but it's well produced.

fruity loops is awesome.

He was actually quite a bit in the media here in holland. He's 14/15 years old and will be going to university next year studying physics and whatnot. A child prodigy, if you will. And yes, he likes trance. I bet he'll be hunting down Aphex/Ae records after a couple years of university.

i'm afraid that's a realistic scenario now that he's under the wing of state of glance man armin. plus, there's more money to be made in trance. even kid prodigies will feel that in their wallets.

personally I'm hoping he's going to have a miserable time adjusting to university life and will finally fall for the dark side and create some cool stuff. i'm positive like that! ;)

No. If those shops were posted here in the FUNNY PICTURES THREAD I would have no problem with them actually.

My understanding was the "post your most recent pic" thread was where we could, you know, post our most recent pics, and get to know each other a little better.

They are two separate threads, I hope you understand this.
