plaid Plaid's one-off tracks are some of their best

Thinking of some of the tracks appearing on compilations and what-not:

Itsu

Chasend

Bodyclocker

Diamonds

Wrong Ways

Even Spring and Housework (for Peel Sessions, but sort of fits in with these)

Faster (although the 'vocals' irritate me a little, it's still great)

'Best' is subjective obviously blah blah, but I'm certain a lot of people must rate some of these tracks pretty highly as well. Some of my faves, anyway.

i got that CD w/ "Bodyclocker" on it. not feeling that new on on Balkan Vinyl Blue though.

"Fell" from Japanese Double Figure. was great live.

"Stormy" from Dial P.

Miamivice is ace as well, although it did eventually appear on Spokes.

the best version of miamivice, imho, was on that warp taster of 2003 cd that they gave away..

it was mixed with something.. nightmares on wax?? i can't remember, but it was wicked. the best version.

they should still remix jan hammer's "crockett's theme", tho.

martin dust, i mean 'the black dog', do do do these random uncomissioned/illegit remixes and hope they'll get picked up, eh..

so why not Plaid? ..who can pretty much remix anything proper awesomely well...........
