how do you let someone know you like them

Here is my advice:

Bail

You've already invested way too much energy and emotion into this. If you try and make a move, it's not going to work out and will devastate you.

She's obviously got you in the friend zone, so just keep being her friend, make her laugh, do things for her that you would find high value for in a friend.

Don't fret about it, and put yourself into positive thinking and independent mode around her, and let her know that you've got your own agenda. And then maybe one day she'll become interested in you and you can revisit this.

Trying to get someone to be interested in you, when you reallly reallly reallly like them, comes across the wrong way and is a classic fail scenario.

Also, if you think like that then why wouldn't everyone else think of you that way. I would revamp your self esteem, if you aren't going to change the way you look/habits then at least be happy with who you are and carry yourself that way. I have known some short guys that have a real problem with being short, and I know tons of short guys that carry themselves very well and have done well with the ladies.

And why did you have to stop talking to her again? I missed that.
