via an interview in SF Weekly:

"the Meat Beat Manifesto album will have been finished for more than a year when it comes out in September. The lag is partly because Dangers is still in discussions with labels interested in releasing the physical product in different territories."

i hope Jack Dangers doesn't make dated sounded dubstep again on a meat beat manifesto album.

if it's an homage to Coil and not dubstep i'll be quite happy. The only track i truly loved off the last album was the final one, Spanish Vocoder

2010 is the year of Coil. How to Destroy Angels, then Answers Come in Dreams. My next prediction: Lady Gaga - Scatology

I am a big Jack fan, but lets face it, the last good MBM record was RUOK? not sure if the Planet µ version of Autoimmune was any good but the US version just didn't work for me. i hope, i really hope it's got something going on. Now the Live '05 CD, god wasn't that great.

pretty much, At the Center was good albeit a little overly jazzy. I think the last jack dangers release that genuinely blew me away was Loudness Clarifies. Sometimes his stuff sounds a little 'over worked' but Loudness was pretty minimalist in it's approach.

Jack has been saying this a lot when I visit:

"More dub, less step."

I've heard some of what he's been working on and I think you will be happy. Also you may be interested in The JD's album (me and jack, see thread elsewhere on watmm): http://bit.ly/cGZOud - no dubstep!

Jack Dangers, the mastermind behind Meat Beat Manifesto, has already established his reputation as a legendary figure in electronic music. With classic albums such as Storm The Studio, Armed Audio Warfare, Satyricon, In Dub, and 2008’s Autoimmune, MBM has never stopped evolving and influencing the musical landscape. Over the course of its existence, MBM has been labeled industrial, techno, breakbeat, IDM, Acid House, Drum N’ Bass, Dubstep, and more. No label seems to stick, as the music evolves with every release. With the new album, Answers Come In Dreams, Mr. Dangers once again expands on the Meat Beat Manifesto sound. Hypnotically beautiful, the album pulses with life.
