albums like Jackson's "Smash"

i'm trying to decide where to go from Smash.

my options so far are:

a) Akufen "My Way"

b) James Holden "The Idiots Are Winning"

c) Vernon LeNoir "YAWK!"

I picked these at somewhat random, would any of these compliment Smash?

it's a bit of a stretch to say that this album sounds like smash - but i would consider it the best of the choices you provided

Definitely "My Way". Most of the other stuff I'd recommend is off EP's:

he's done and handful of remixes, DJ'd around europe a bit, and he says he's been working on the follow up to Smash, which he says he thinks will be finished in 6 months. which is probably French for three years.

so yes on Akufen? Skidoos seems really cool. I compare them in the sense of chaotic sampling, espicially orchestral stuff. And that Jackson sort of came from house music.

Some of GESCOM's A1-D1 has really sample heavy stuff (B1 that has the "TIME TO DIE" sample), though obviously not very stylistically similar to Jackson and His Computer Band.
