if you like that album i highly recommend you check out Mr Oizo - mustache half a scissor, VHS head - trademarks of ribbons and gold, SebestiAn- Remixes

id like to think that Oizo helped pioneer this style, but only his 2nd full length really has anything in common with Jackson, Oizo incidentally produced several tracks off of Smash

i would like Com Truise more if he used his amazing ability to mimic 80s anthemic synth instrumental music to bring it a little bit further out of the full on retro fetishm sound, but if we're on the tip of non glitchy music that brings back memories of this i'd also recommend Kavinsky, Lazersword and Brian E (especially yellow light district)

edit: i'm not a Lazer sword fan but it can't be denied that they nailed this sound on their debut album

I am a fan of Mr Oizo, Sebastian and VHS Head.

Oizo's Moustache is almost like a tongue in cheek version of Smash, just absolutely ridiculous samplism. And then Sebastian was sort of their love child, and hasn't put a wrong foot down yet (January album please?). So yes, I am a huge fan of those two already, but thanks for the recommendation.

The Vermin Twins album is too good to leave at the bottom of page two, so I'm bumping it:

If your a fan of Jackson, Oizo and even Kap Bambino then check out some of their tracks. "Exoskeleton", "Suffocate" and "Goblinside" are great.
