'Fum' now available

Recommended Posts

Sorry, just got really excited to finally get this and had to make a topic for a newly released Plaid track.

Get it here, if you will. Plus Posthuman are also on it, where can you go wrong?

Fum in it's entirety is awesome, by the way.

Haven't really rated the Balkan series apart from the Red EP.. just more of the same hyped up banged out tacky acid. Violet sounds like one of the better ones though.

sorry to hear they haven't been to your taste.

although there's no acid at all on yellow, orange, or violet, and green didn't have a lot of acid on it either...?

It's up on Boomkat, if that's any good, unless you're after a physical copy?

physical copies will be out in the next week or so.

However, the shops get such a limited number of individual copies (as little as 3 or 4 copies per shop), as most of them were part of the subscriptions, it might be worth emailing to reserve / pre-order.

Boomkat, Bleep, Clone, Interstellar, Piccadilly, Phonica, Juno, and Rubadub are the shops who will most likely stock the physical copies.

I was hoping for a bit of Plaid involvement in the bonus CD tracks, but nevermind. There's plenty of Posthuman action there to make up for it.

Really sorry for sounding so harsh mate - i was bang out of order. You as a label have done amazing work and don't disserve such a slating. I just felt let down by some of the releases. Of course you are correct, there isn't that much acid on the records anyway. I'm an old balding acid head from the 80's and a lot of the none-303 tracks we classed as "acieed!". Nowadays (and through the 1990's) it's been more along the lines of "no 303 not acid"... which is cool :) You know that i'm going to have to listen to all the colours again now to see how wrong i am.. wouldn't be the first time :)

btw, i do think red and violet ep's are f***ing tops!

thanks again for your hard work and please keep it up!

ps. i'm not kissing arse.. it's just how i feel.

one of them, the purple features a new plaid track, called 'fum'.

Im knew to this two.

So there are 250 copies of each ep and the Balkan store itself ran out?

If you buy from other stores, does that also come with a cd?

I believe so. jph said on here a bit back that all Balkan Vinyl releases would be the same (Vinyl release with CD thrown in).

hmm. My typing is rather poor when I'm tired.

Anyway, thissounds like the sort of thingba person would try buy each one of if they started.... Are they all still abailable at one place or another?

Also, they are unavailable (Excluding download) at bleep, yes?

There are 250 copies (numbered) of each release - six releases in all, Plaid feature on the sixth.

Each vinyl is sealed over the top with a sticker, holding a CD in the sleeve (proper CD, not CDr) with the same tracks from the vinyl + some extras - usually remixes of vinyl tracks.

All the direct subscriptions are sold out - but some individual copies are still available from shops.

The shops that stocked the vinyls are: Rubadub, Piccadilly, Clone, Boomkat, Bleep, Juno, Interstellar Sounds, Phonica

though the copies are so limited, you may or may not find them in stock.

The digital releases are in all the usual places, Juno, Dj download, beatport, bleep. boomkat, amazon, itunes, emusic etc.

more info on the label on the website: http://www.balkanvinyl.com

Upcoming on the label we also have the new Posthuman album, and later this year a new album from Global Goon.

Next year we plan on doing another vinyl series, with a new theme, this time artists each having a record to themsleves. Can't announce who's on that yet though...
