Favorite movies from your childhood

Like many people here, Toy Story, the Lion King and Aladdin are the first to come to mind. Wayne's World, Dumb & Dumber, are close followers. Then well...I don't exactly remember.

Yeah most of the movies people mentioned as favorites, I'd agree on. When making my post I tried to remember what I watched on VHS most, either it was something I owned, something recorded off of TV, or something I took out from the grocery store video rental store a lot (one of those Piranha movies, lol).

Most of what I watched and loved as a kid I still love, some were just kids movies and don't hold up in any other area than just plain nostalgia. I watched a surprising amount of "adult" or R Rated material as a kid, so most of those are still my favorites. I loved horror and Sci-Fi, even though I used to shit bricks sometimes.

I recommend everyone who has a nice tv and a blu-ray player rent or buy the neverending story, it looks awesome and is a lot better than that shitty DVD release. Still no special features, though I don't know what they'd put on there as an extra.

Terminator 2

had all those recorded on vhs, so I just spammed them when I was a kid. Dark Sci-Fi for the win :D

Also I remember Labyrinth and the Golden Child (which was kinda fucked up even though it was Eddie Murphy)

And then Witches, which gave me recurring nightmares for about half a year. Sci-fi didn't scare me, but horrible scalpey witches did...
