listened to this, quite liked it, had a laugh at a review of it containing the adjective 'post-dubstep'. Actually, now maybe this will be influential on a genre known as 'post-dubstep' and so will retroactively come to be known as 'proto-post-dubstep'.

folks really should listen to Mark Clifford's masterful 2005 collaboration album with Simon Kealoha: Running Taper, released on Mark's Polyfusia Records (which also released autechre's remix of spangle). "Composed with heavy use of Guitar and "Electronics"." It is among my favourite albums in the GAS / OVAL / FENNESZ etc. style of erratic digital-meets-analogue noise processed in ways that make it soothing and hypnotic, providing both warmth and catharsis. The duo are meant to have had a second album coming out for years that was recorded long ago but still think it has not seen the light.

aah, seefeel and related artists! fun both on and off drugs!

thanks for the info

i for one really dig the new ep though it would be nice if it were longer. crowded is sweet and i swear that shrill tab @ 2:47 says seefeel. correct me if im wrong but faults is the first track they've done that incorporates discernable vocals? seems like theyre reaching out a bit to fans of animal collective or something like this. clouded is the only track i can't really get down on yet, but all in all this album is on heavy rotation right now...great success
