it's been a non issue for a long long time, if there was any REAL question once the music surfaced. Also, Q27, to say curiosity is really frowned upon at watmm is one of the most laughably ignorant things I've ever heard on watmm.

So, I guess I'm new to electronic music "culture", so excuse the noobiness of the question that will follow.

Why do so many of these artists have so many different pseudonyms? I can understand a few (to release a wide range of music) but some seem to have heaps, and like to have mystery surrounding them (I.e. Not revealing who made x piece of music)....

Wanting to cash in on music you're ashamed to have associated with your name.

to release on different labels, to release in a different style without the expectations associated with a particular pseudonym, just for the hell of it.

Same reason as writers do it.
