Always though that Move Of Ten was a reference to their entire career, you know, like : "our progression was a move of ten albums". Now they can sit down and look back at their past, at those ten albums.

OK. And.

I think you could reasonably consider it an album.

I know :cerious: But they had to wait for their 10th album (Oversteps as we all know) to consider their career as a move of ten.

In my mind there's no question as to whether it's an album or EP. It's an EP/EP Bundle/whatever you want to call it.......

Albums aren't sold in two parts. Also, AE wouldn't release an album with a cover that reworks the artwork of the previous one.

Ok, by definition:

LP = Long Play (Album)

EP = Extended Play (mini album)

Im sure there are lots of geeky classifications out there to show what formats conform to which rules for charting purposes...

...but if ae call it an EP, Warp release it as an EP, then it is an EP.

I don't get it. Who would refer to their career as a "move of" something? And why would they choose this point to look back? Just because 10 is a nice round number? Then what are they going to do, now that they are looking back? Retire?

Obviously 10 is significant somehow. And it wouldn't be the number of EPs because the only EP between EP7 and this is Gantz Graf. But your post is pretty woolly.

EDIT: except Quadrange, which I totally slept on. LOL. Makes sense now.

Also (OMG nerd argument developing!) it's definitely an EP, because thus far they have only remixed/reworked/"mechanically reclaimed" previous material, or at least made fairly clear that they were doing so, on EPs. And that's obviously going on in a few tracks here.
