It doesn't negate the fact that most women in your life have probably had legitimate experiences of sexual assault or serious fear stricken to them sexually. It leaves a scar on people, and if they want to open up about that then good. Yes there are some who will try to blur the line and say that some guy who glanced at them for 2 seconds on the subway made them feel sexually threatened, but there will always be people who are oversensitive and self-aggrandizing in that manner, who will jump on a movement to feel included. Most people aren't that. And even those who are like that are not hopeless, they're probably just in an immature phase of their life.

If you want advice, which you probably don't, it's go out to a cafe or something and talk with some random people in your community more. You sound like you don't get much varied social stimulation. It would do you good to go out and actually try to empathize with who you deem as the writhing masses and see that there actually is a fair bit of intelligence, wisdom, and humanity in even those you think of as flies around shit.

seems like the opposite is true. he's clearly not getting away with it and suffering losses because of something that wouldn't even materialize into a lawsuit irl outside of showbiz scene. only because he's famous it's causing a lot of noise and therefore damage to him.

Oh no doubt Louie screwed the pooch. Casually whacking it in front of acquaintances turns out to be a high stakes gamble. But these transgressions have been re-contextualized in the wake of Roy Moore, Spacey, Weinstein, etc. If this kind of behavior goes unchecked, it can escalate to Weinstein levels, sure. Maybe there are worse incidents we don't know about yet. It's just too consensual and mild at this point for me to say I'm horrified and disgusted. That Louie circa 2002 clout only gets you so far with habits like that.

Its abuse of power. And that is gross. It's rational in a corrupt system where those up the ladder get to manipulate.

This happened pretty frequently at my previous job. A manager/supervisor can't harass anyone and get away with it, but they can take someone under their wing. Certain employees becoming the "favorite student" and really, eh, rising to the occasion is something people are less likely to talk about in a way that brings consequences. It's crass and sexist to accuse a coworker of climbing the ladder that way even though everyone knows that in this case, it was true. So it continues unchecked.

You're not from Missouri are you? Because I had a buddy in college who did the same thing with his balls at parties. He had the biggest fuckin scrote I'd ever seen. All of my male friends agreed and if you multiply that across all the locker rooms and pornography we had watched as an aggregate, it was really saying something.
