I was in a record store the other day and they put on a record that I thought sounded exactly like Beach House, but slower, deeper and better.

It turns out the record was the 12" single for "Myth", but it was playing at 33rpm instead of 45rpm.

That sounds lush, wish I could hear the beginning (I like the way it sounds at 0:40) - her vocals at 33rpm sound familiar to me for some reason, like a 90s-era artist I heard as a kid, can't pinpoint anyone in particular though...

hah, yeah I saw that earlier in the thread. Well as a kid I thought Heart and Rush were the same band because I'd only heard "Magic Man" and "Tom Sawyer" so I completely get that. Or as a youtube comment said "she sounds like a woman who sounds like a guy who sounds like a woman"

Also noticed that you like "Silver Soul" a lot, which is one of my favorites as well. Played it over and over the first time I heard it, really like this version in particular -
