Avey Tare - Down There

whenever I see this new generation of musicians that avey tare is part of, I look at them, and they are playing synthesizers, and I simply think: "he is playing the guitar and this is indie rock, right?" and I am wrong

they do play guitar and whatnot, its just they have been obsessed with synths and samplers as of late.

whole thing is pretty legendary though

really liking this on repeated listens. is that a sample from the film waking life on glass bottom boat. also is the piano that plays for way too short a time a sample too?

i dont thihnk any of the instruments or drums are sampled.

the piano is really nice and then its gone so quickly.
