Guest Lucy Faringold
Been trying to make a concerted effort to get deeper into controlled, deliberate Lucid Dreaming/Astral Phasing (been reading lots of old Frank Kepple stuff) and just had my best projection yet. Before I went to sleep I requested to visit a gallery so I could bring some pictures back and recreate them in physical so to speak. Well I failed at phasing initially and had a dream about being in a skyscraper with thousands of birds smashing through the windows. After that was done I woke up briefly then automatically phased into the entrance of a beautiful gallery (lots of antique furniture and gold swank everywhere) with 100% lucidity. Felt overwhelmingly pleased and proceeded to wander round looking at pictures. Then I discovered that the gallery was attached to another structure and the whole complex was some kind of large institution. What was interesting to me was that this was the first time I remember having controlled interactions with other people whilst lucid. I was basically wandering around like a goofball waving and saying hello to all these people and many of them seemed amused that I seemed to be so happy. Then I went and checked out the community message boards and finally I bumped into someone who introduced themselves and said 'they really liked me' and, well, things got a little risqué after that. This was quite different to my usual experiences of this type as everything was completely 'solid' and controlled and the environment had logic to it. Usually I'm just flying round like an idiot, creating weird landscapes because I'm too hyped up to think of doing anything else. Hugh Mughnus
Hmm Mrs. Lucy I'm proud of you. That sounds like quite the experience. I'm not sure if this is relevant but 100% of my dreams are.. interactive? Is this what everyone means when they say lucid? I have been an alcoholic for 6 years (though I quit a while ago). I think this has changed the way I dream. Any time I dream, I can interact with all the characters and I swear I'm fully conscious and it's like living a double life. Additionally, when I wake up to get a drink of water, and then go back to sleep, the dream resumes where it left off. Theoretically, this is impossible as dreams are the firing of synapses in the seconds/milliseconds?! I promise you this is my experience and I have an extremely involved dream sequence every couple days. It's so strange. I wonder if this is related to my HPPD?! I promise you this is my experience and I have an extremely involved dream sequence every couple days. It's so strange. I wonder if this is related to my HPPD?! I guess the criteria are different for everyone but when I use the term lucid I refer to the fact that I brought my full waking consciousness to the dreamstate. For example, in the experience I just had I started from 100% lucidity but I still asked myself the question: "am I awake or am I having a lucid dream?" because I've trained myself to ask that question and it helps to activate the kind of logical thought processes you use in normal physical life. It puts the question beyond doubt, so to speak. It certainly sounds like you're having lucid experiences too. i imagine if you can train yourself to ask the same kind of question next time you're dreaming it will help you to be sure (asking the question during the day, when you're not asleep, will help you to make this become a habit) Once you get more interested in lucid dreaming or astral projection there's a tendency to stop thinking along conventional lines about what dreams (or even consciousness itself) actually is. Just have fun with it! Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/58416-share-your-dreams/page/15/#findComment-1962667 Share on other sites
Hugh Mughnus
Yes! I notice that very often when I am having these dreams, part of my thought process in the dream is that.... This is a dream! And I'm living it! So I believe I may be having lucid dreams. Sometimes they are very scary though. Lately they have been very sexy. =) Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Hugh Mughnus's signature Hide all signatures On 1/19/2020 at 5:27 PM, Richie Sombrero said: Nah, you're a wee child who can't wait for official release. Remember that in non-physical you can manifest instantly, and most of your mainifestations are usually created automatically from your emotional energy. So if you find yourself in a scary situation then try not to react emotionally or 'fight back'. This will just escalate the situation and you will keep reacting to the new manifestations in the same way. Try to maintain an air of casual interest (almost like a scientific mindset) and realise that you can't be hurt by projections of consciousness. Easier said than done, but if you think about this stuff whilst awake it will become second nature to think like that when you're lucid too. Hugh Mughnus
That's very interesting. I never entertained the notion that I may, when dreaming lucidly, control my emotions/reactions in a way that wasn't representative of my actual persona?! So I may react with "casual interest" in my dreams.... Thus I should realize in my dreams I cannot be hurt/destroyed/killed...?! This presents an interesting development for me. I can't wait! I think now that I am more cognitive of my ability to dream this way that I may have greater control over it. Oh yeah, once you realise that you have complete freedom to create whatever you want all bets are off. Emotion and thought are primary creative tools so if you can consciously control them then you're in business. Reacting to horrifying situations by projecting warm rays of love will change the situation. I remember doing this in a 'normal dream' a couple of weeks ago even though I wasn't lucid! Was cool to realise I was changing the way I reacted in non-lucid dreams too. Because the person is closer to the dreamstate than usual then their sense of unease and immobility will create these unsettling projections which can emotionally feedback on themselves very easily. It's perfectly natural and I've read about experienced projectors who occasionally find themselves in this state but maintain enough awareness of what's happening that they don't experience the usual 'negative' effects. But like I said I've not experienced it myself so I'm just going off what I've gleaned from other more knowledgeable people. ambermonk
My latest dream this morning was that I was going to a movie theatre at night. At this theatre you purchased your tickets from a vending machine, rather than the traditional booth. So I pulled out a bunch of dollar bills to insert into the machine. Suddenly there's a line of people behind me and a group of small children to my left. One guy comes right up to me asking for money, but I immediately yelled "Fuck off! GTFO!" at him, with all the little kids nearby (who strangely showed little reaction).Once in the theatre, I got seated on this curved couch. Then some married woman in her late 30s joins me, but starts to flirt with me and we end up cuddling. But I'm partly nervous because she came by herself, and we have no idea where her husband is.A little while later, ice suddenly forms on the ceiling, and most people evacuate. Then huge slabs of ice start falling from the ceiling. The woman and I stayed put though, and I put a board over our heads to shield us from the ice. After that, I can't really remember anything. Danny O Flannagin
My friend gave me some sort of drug in pill form. He told me the best way to take it was to get a gun and put the gun to the side of your head with the pill at the end of the chamber so you can lodge it into your brain. It would then dissolve and you'd be high as fuck. I was sitting on the bed with the gun against my head but it just didn't feel right, lol. I didnt go through with it but instead, took like 5 of them orally. They were like little pieces of metal but turned into really great tasting gummies in your mouth. We went to some event and all i could remember was feeling high as fuck and seeing lens flair everyone in my vision and i couldn't really make out what was actually happening.
