I dont get it, chassis, we are just having a little fun and banter about Aphex Twin which is harmless why is this so annoying to the forum. I have read the rules, the rules state that you can talk about the artist, speculating new releases, old releases or possible performances and live recordings. So I presume you dont want to see the man at Electric Picnic, I certainly do, he was nothing short of mind blowing at RockNess and he never ever tours enough to properly satisfy his solid fan base. What exactly are the rules anyway, do we have to constantly have intellectually stimulating discussions about Aphex Twins music or something. Maybe Mr James might look at these threads if everyone wasnt trying to fathom and calculate exactly what his music means all the time.

afx has previous arrangements with MCD so if he plays any festival, it'll be oxegen (like he did in 2008)

Cmon Kaini Florence and the Machine played both EP and oxegen last year, a number of bands played both festivals, Aphex played RockNess this year instead of T in the Park, once should be enough for any festival. EP and Oxegen are both run by Festival Republic now, all the same EPs line up is still pretty good with Crystal Castles, Leftfield, The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew and Massive Attack among others, still would love to see Aphex again.
