I still use a free pirated version of Windows XP and have messed around/got serious with just about everything you can possibly do on a computer, again with no serious virus problems or time spent mucking around with security.

If iOS and OSX ever become the same locked down product, then I'll gladly jump ship (back to Ubuntu, though). But I think the vast majority of pre-iPhone mac users would be with me, so I don't see Jobs or anyone being quite that stupid.
