This is a post for everyone who feels like embarrassing oneself.

I'm gonna start.

I like an avril lavigne song called "i'm with you" althoug i see its obvious cheesyness and how elevated it is. hearin it feels like falling in love with a spoiled, rich girl because of her flaws and her not seein them.

 jesus I hate that song.

I cant really think of anything. Any songs I like I come out an say unashamed that I like them. If I like it then It must be a good song? If you consider ones self to have the perfect taste in music. And dont we all consider ourselves to have the best taste? Otherwise we would change it right?

At the time I thought this Rihanna song was nice and catchy. But then after months of it being endlessly repeated (by radio dj's and club dj's not myself), I eventually hated it.

EDIT: I think its just the production, its just a really well produced track. Wouldn't expect much else from Jay-Z though.

i don't know if her legs got me into the song or the song got me into her legs, but i find it catchy and can listen from beginning trough end, which means in other words.. that i like it.

i think pop songs are rarely good, they are almost always really bad, but they are catchy and that is something we all like, even tho we don't tell it.

I heard some Lily Allen songs a few years back & thought they were pretty catchy. Haven't heard any since then so maybe I was just going through a brief spell of insanity at the time.

I guess this post is kind of documenting the everlasting fight between ratio and heart. But maybe I'm too pretentious assuming everyone knows that inner dialog regarding music. Only time and this post will tell...

i actually get his point. i do feel the same way.

i guess i like the fact that a certain song is catchy because i immediatly take from it what i am supposed to, altough i am not familiar with it at all, but if i like it or not, it's something i don't really want to think about.

chassis is saying it makes no sense, but i doubt he never felt this way about a song. i am sure we all feel this way at least once.

the pop music listener could feel this about an ae song for instance, because it's just something he is not used to but catches him. we just need to look at this from the opposite perspective.

Well, there is actually one thing. Why would you wait till you're alone to listen to lady gaga and then confess in here?

Ahh, i get it. The internet-nerds can go fuckemselves, noones interested in their opinion, right? :mu-ziq:

hehe well no, i'm guessing i should be more open with it

However, this is a song i should hate.. i've heard it on radio a few times (i hate radio music) and it's by a swedish singer robyn, i really dislike pop and never liked her, or radio music.. but i can't help to love this song!

Im saying even you if you think the song is catchy. It means you like the song, at least the 1st time you heard it. Pop songs have a low repeat value.

Plus the fact that he said he was playing them repeatedly. I can get what he's trying to say, just not they way he's saying it. Perhaps I should cut him some slack.

English is not my main language so sometimes there are mistakes, this is one of those times

It's less about your english and more that you listen to Gaga :nelson::cisfor:

There's a song i only heard in a simpsons episode. It's in the intro and something with "tick tack on the clock". I'm sure you know which one i mean, lovely internet-nerds. I never searched for it, but i really like that stupid piece of shit.

Oh, and: i love those foreigners you speak of, because i'm one of them. And actually you are to each other, too, ruiagnelo and chassis. Oh, and: chassis should definitely post one of his little song-secrets.
