I don't usually make snap judgements about BoC influenced artists - I like both Tycho and Dupe for example - but the LPP stuff is blatant plagiarism. You know, the type that if you're found out for it in college you get expelled.

Thing is, if he'd marketed his album as an album of creative BoC covers, I'd be interested and might buy it!

lots of musicians borrow from one another, but this dude has no identity of his own. what rubbish.

Fair point, I don't know much about the guy. If I can make it to his thursday gig, I will, and then I'll pass judgement all over the shop (because I'll be entitled).

nathan fakes ''outhouse'' is awesome! everything else he's done has jsut sounded like a rip off of either boc or m83 really. meh.
