I think he said how he was into the newest (at the time) Locust album.

'truth is born of arguments' ?

Is he still smashing synths on stage?

i think he only did that once, as a PR exercise for some synth manufacturer

this sounds like an airplane landing on a minefield

Cautella is a hard one for me to get into, especially since Richard is such a sound design master why is one of the tracks a stock demo kyma granular patch playing unaltered for a couple mintues? all the new stuff he's been posting on his facebook page is excellent, if he put out an album of all of it it would probably be his best one.

You listen to all those vids then? I used to listen to a few but honestly it frustrates me that he seems to be plugging all the products he gets sent, most likely out of advertisement instead of putting up some proper tracks.

When I saw him at Glade last year his set finished a little early, so he ended it by playing (well, "playing") Arc Acid sped up. It was ridiculous.

Twice I've seen him live and both sets have been wildly different and fucking awesome. Lovely guy too, very humble.

Yeah, I'm sure that's right. I liked 'Weathered Well' and 'Natural Composite' better. Have you heard the 'Skysplit' EP. It's nice as well.

i can see it that way, but i was never a gigantic fanboy to begin with, my fascination with him is more along the lines of pure geekery which is why i don't mind the recent type of output he's done. if anyone can push a piece of gear for sound design purposes, he seems to be the man to do it.

I've seen him 3 times now and he always does amazing stuff. First time I saw him, he showed my his driver's liscense when I asked him if that was his real name. He also showed me "Rubber Johnny" on his PSP before it was released on DVD.

Last ttime I saw him I asked him when his next album is coming out. He said he is having trouble finding someone to release it in it's 5.1 mix. I told him I didn't even have a 5.1 system and that maybe he should mix it down to 2 channels. HA! Anyways, he and his wife/girlfriend? are super nice. She said living with him is like living in a spaceship since his equipment is always blinking everywhere in the house....lol
