ummm sorry to rain on the parade, but does he sound that awful? not really. i mean he obviously cuts a lot of shit short b/c i'm sure he can't handle what he used to, but i don't think he really sounds bad at all. keep in mind this is unmixed, live this would come over a lot more strongly i think.

now, that's not to say he sounds nearly as.. erm, good, as he did 20 years ago.

His voice was never good, but now its even worse (like a comment on youtube said "He sounds like a kid trying to imitate Axl")

Well, it's not really GnR now, is it? It's a bunch of i-dont-know-who's at the apex of their career playing in grandpa Axl's backing band.

That style of vocalization doesn't really suit men in their 60's.

People in the crowd still seem really stoked though & like they are having loads of fun. They actually make it look like a good time.
