So its sounding like this game is not worth my money and will crush my memories of playing Duke 3D all those years ago. Would this be right?

well it's kinda hard not to when the standard WATMM practice of dissing something without even having listened to / watched / played something is happening.

and objectively, have you played the PC version? if not, then you can't really comment. and all these blogs and reviews that are saying it looks terrible also can't comment. since they're playing the xbox 360 version.

of course it looks outdated, as i've already said myself, the game is running on tech that 3D Realms / Triptych Games made in 2006. what i'm saying is that these graphics glitches, bad framerates etc are not there on the PC version, as opposed to them actually being there on the console versions (and predominantly on the 360 by the look of it)
