I'm greatly enamored with this type of music, but have no idea what albums or artists to check out. Any tips?

Slower dark vibraphone vibes greatly appreciated. Surf rock not so much.

a few compilations out there of this kind of work, as well as individual soundtracks too

quite a lot of crossover on the compilations though

Luke Vibert's Further Nuggets cd sounds like this

foods in the tone of 'go to the fuckin store'

patayda chips

apple cracker thangies

Did a search for "Spy", cuz I wanted to see if there were other reviews in the films recently watched thread... But anyway, bumping this thread, as I used to listen to this kind of music for years on end, specifically trough the streaming radio station Secret Agent, on somaFM. Really good shit-- spy, PI, and other mystery/action/lounge/chill/funk vibez. Highly recommended~!
