Hotmail just deleted all my emails

YOU CAN REDIRECT HOTMAIL MESSAGES TO GMAIL JUST GO TO THE ADVANCED PREFERENCES IN GMAIL.

really SHIT spam handling.

extremely shit user interface (although that one is subjective).

as far as i know, has only recently enabled POP3 access. still doesn't do IMAP (at least not for free).

no fancy routing features.

and the obvious occurrences going on that are detailed in this thread.

mine filters everything quite well, and i've never had the issue this thread revolves around

what's wrong with the interface? it's simple, but what more could one need?

Same thing happened to me. Lost all my MSN contacts as well. Not a bad thing really.

Just thought I'd let everyone know MS restored all my emails about an hour ago. They still never answered my help request, lol.

it was really very strange that thousands of emails could disappear like that :/

I've had annoying problems with Hotmail recently.

1. Every time I went into my account the fucker froze saying there was a dodgy script that needs to be aborted which apparently happened because Microsoft were using some dodgy fucking popup thingys.
   
2. Someone or something kept sending emails to all in my address book.
   
3. The emails that I deleted last night reappeared this morning.
   

That's it now. I've given them enough chances. If only I didn't just get Windows 7 on my new PC I would go straight to Linux.

I've had some bad problems with hotmail too.

1. Says they can't connect to the hotmail server.

2. Says that they're conducting maintenance, so I can't even look at my mail.

3. Randomly sends safe contacts to spam and unsafe contacts to inbox.

I switched over to Australia.edu mail. Loving it so far.

I don't know, I don't like everything I use being run by google.
