yeah... from this trailer, it looks like they may as well have just made an English dub for the original. I mean... even the colours are exactly the same! This is so pointless... this is even more annoying then if they completely destroyed it and made it some silly American teen movie or something, at least then we'd have something different! Instead they waste money on this... money that could have been given to a director and a story that actually has something slightly new to offer us oh why am I complaining we all know this already...

Just saw this and I like that it's an original vampire story but I didn't really like this movie and here's why

way too slow, if the story was any less interesting I would have turned it off

also some continuity issues I would like explained

**this is for people that have seen the movie so if you feel like it's spoiler content then don't read it!**

so they "sleep together" in the buff and she leaves him a note

then, what seems like several days later, he reads it and we get to see what it says

basically she can't hang around so then we get a scene of, what I assume, is her flagging down a car... ok so she left already?

then we get a scene where he comes into her apartment and she lets him in then shuts another door on him so they can put their hands on the glass?? why?

also why does Oskar go back into wuss mode at the end? what happened to standing up for yourself? and how come the kid on the bleachers just sit there while she tears his friends up? he was already crying and being a little baby so how come he didn't run like hell!?

also her caretaker or whoever that guy is, is really shitty at his job, leaving evidence around then just killing himself when he's trapped a room at the school which was a stupid place to drain his blood to begin with! I just don't buy it...

if the American version is just a carbon copy of this then I will skip it

I think this film is bad but it should be safe to say that no matter what, the American version of it will be worse.
