i actually know quite a few people quite a few years younger than me but they're pretty atypical because they're like budding hipsters or something and want to be like jaded 25 year olds and watch films like sick: the life and death of bob flanagan, super masochist and listen to toro y moi and get their moms to drive them to owen pallett shows. so they pretty much talk like me and try to get people to buy them PBR.

when i was like 15 or 16 i had a lot of friends that were 24 or 25 so i guess the cycle continues.

in my experience ppl don't often grow up that much really (mentally) between 16 and 26, so....

but once you hit 30 everything changes. which is very weird.

im still friends with a lot of them and THEY haven't changed much. though i suppose that's not all that good for them, 35 years old and still boozing it up literally every night.

edit: and i've changed quite a bit since i was 15, i used to be a radical feminist and crimethinc black bloc throw a brick through the starbucks window anarchist. i've mellowed.
