still unsure at this point. i've thoroughly enjoyed the three songs released so far yet remain hesitant after previewing the rest of the tracks on amazon. i'd have to listen to the whole album first.

Initially I had very little interest in it, but the new samples from Amazon sounded surprisingly nice. I'll definitely give it a full listen before I drop any cash for it, though...

Hell yeah! Into The Blue is the best SP track since Welcome To Europe. It's pure pop, but I love it!

i like the tracks and artwork but it's a bit pricey... i'll wait until the release to buy it i think.

Preordered already, looking forward to it. Haven't like most of his bass wankery, but this is nice.

there are one or two songs not yet released that sound ok, but one or two of those tracks sound shockingly bad. i really don't like the vocoder on the first track, and another song has that really nasally electric guitar sound from tensor in green that i have always hated. i may pass on getting this whole album and just purchase the best tracks.

at least, sp seems to stay fairly prolific so even what may be a somewhat disappointing album always has the chance of soon being redeemed.

There aren't many people who I buy every release when out but Squarepusher is one of them.

I will not hesitate to make the purchase.

i personally really love the direction squarepusher is going in. i've never been a big fanboy or anything, but i've been losing my shit over most of his post-hello everything stuff (in a good way). also i'm so god damn glad he's not using the amen break anymore. i mean sure, he's the king of breakfucking, but that shit peaked at go plastic (and maybe some moments of ultravisitor/related singles), it's time to move on!

then again, you can probably take my words with a pinch of salt, since i fucking love vocoders.

blasphemy...people say drukqs was this but i have never felt this way nor do i think this is his view. plus rich's tracks are raw, loud, and piercing. you would never be able to tag lite onto an aphex twin track (save maybe avril 14th). anyway its not the approach that i disagree with here. i play bass and guitar so you wont find me bitching about the bandiness of it nor do i care about break-fucking or drill & bass or w.e bullshit that people say is dead. i would just like some music with heart and energy (like tetra-sync) that isn't overwhelmed by bright tones and cuteness (nearly everything on JAS)
