as for the packers, when i was young like 4 or 5 I used to have a poster on the wall of all the nfl helmets and i always liked the packers logo (and it also looked like the local super market logo ''Gateway'' for the english ppl) and it just kinda stuck, i had lots of starter hats as well when i was young of all the teams

when i was young they opened up a brand spanking new Gateway store in the nearest town. At the side of the building was vents where you see into some machine room that had a low green light and lots of semi reflective appendages. It scared me because it was the inside of a Tripods spaceship.

Were you scared of Tripods?

no, I love the sound they make (int he tom cruise film)

but, I am scared of the old website host Tripod, especially when you couldn't link pictures from it.

Wait, I thought of a legitimate question.

You do have a physical 303 right?

How much did it cost you?

Where'd you get it?

Has anyone every offered you a large sum for it?

Chris what is your favourite fruit and why?

probably seedless grapes, because there easy to eat and taste really nice. the ones with pips are a bit dangerous imo

I also like avocado as well, but only with prawns, crabs or something, not really a fruit id eat on it's own.

for a typical track, how long does it take you to program a bassline on your 303?

i can rince a bassline in 10 seconds if need be, but on serious tunes

for example

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xB-tl-HZbzM

the bassline (303 lead line actaully) that comes in 1.06 took me around 15 minutes to get it perfect after about 6 takes of the track. its devivded to around 4 or 5 parts with in 16 banks.

the sh-101 main bassline was sequenced on the 101 with the 606 triggering it, the actual programming didnt take long but it took a while to get the right timbre of the bassline, coz either it sounded too much like a 303 and not a real proper bassline.. but i guess that's just personal taste
