IESB has learned that as soon as George Lucas converts his "Star Wars" movies to 3D and re-releases them in theaters, he will shift his focus on bringing a completely new trilogy to the big screen.

The goal is to re-release "Episode I: The Phantom Menace" in 3D in 2012 and be done with the entire saga by around 2017. Within two years after that, the first installment in the new trilogy will be released.

The new films will be financed by the profits from the 3D re-releases and will have nothing to do with the live-action TV series that's currently in the works. In fact, it will have very little to do with the Skywalker storyline. Instead, the plan is to further explore the "Star Wars" universe by making three sequels that will take place many years in the future.

So get ready, new "Star Wars" films are only a decade away!

I watched all the star wars films again recently (or what is left of them after Lucas' meddling). Such a tragic experience. Would love to see the original 3 films again in their unaltered state. The prequels are 95% pure shit, but I really liked the one scene were Palpatine is talking to Anakin at that weird bubble opera. It's like it came from a much better version of the films that exists in some alternate dimension.

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

yeah...

the only 3d turd i will be paying for in 2012 to have coming towards my face,

is the kind of 3d turd that you can only get when being squatted over!

george lucas can kiss my teeth.

Hopefully George Lucas dies soon and the empire is passed on to someone with more working braincells.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

this

I'm a big SW fan, and I can't see myself going to see the original trilogy in 3D. I saw them back in theaters in 1997, and that was enough. I've got the DVDs if I ever need an original trilogy fix

the second release of the original trilogy on DVD included the unaltered theatrical version of the film as a "bonus extra". very much worth it :excl:

didn't read the thread, but does 3D give anyone else a massive headache? I can't take it. Too bothersome.

(I did see Avatar in 3D and enjoyed the experience, but everything else has been a bit of a nightmare.)

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.

haha, see they should have cleaned that up, Criterion style, but stopped there. I so wish Lucas knew how far to go with sprucing up his films. A loving digital transfer and touch up would have been perfectly warranted and no doubt beloved by fans.
