Rhyming in other languages

not exactly a rap.. but this song by Make The Girl Dance, has some nice rhyming in French... and touching on what Babar said, when translated the context is lost, I don't understand the French but I get the tone. It's dirty and sexy and fun, and the rhythm and delivery of it adds to that. When translated to English, the appeal doesn't quite come through, the meaning can be translated but instead it just comes across as a greedy and vulgar list without the rhyme scheme.

Listening to rap in unknown languages is a treat! Free from the need to decode meaning, your mind can focus entirely on the phonetic patterns in the flow. Rhymes transcend language barriers since they can be enjoyed as a purely phonetic/acoustic phenomenon.
