you don't speak french if you don't have a perfect accent. You don't speak french if it's not audible when you ask for a drink in a bar. You don't speak french if the girl next to you don't say "oh you're french aren't you ? i'm so exciiiiiiiiiiiiiiited !". And if you succeed in all of this, and don't notice how fucking obese is this girl, that's probably because you aren't speaking french well enough.

also, i haven't applied for my medical coverage as of yet, so i should be better off soon. so i guess i kind of take that back. But living with a chronic illness is just living with bills you have to pay to die slowly and inconveniently, or not pay and die much sooner and just as inconveniently. hail stan.

See, when Western European nations did it, it was OK, because they were Western European (or possibly American). Those damned uppity Chinamen. Why can't they learn their place!

You can use criticize or critique as a verb, not critic.

Canada is the second largest dumping ground of China's excess population next to Africa, congrats to all the Canadians dating fat Chinese girls.

Semantics

dump : a site for depositing garbage.

Consequently, the seme /garbage/ is propagated to "chinese (girl)". And i'm not even mentioning the bad connotation "excess" bears:

  Quote

excess |ikˈses; ˈekses|

noun

1 an amount of something that is more than necessary, permitted, or desirable :

And i wasn't even refering to this post in particular. You posted a quite a lot of stuffs in this vein actually.

man,

i think i suffer from the same illness. I'm currently on a 100% plan : every single drug my psychiatrist prescribes me is payed off by our social insurance system. Every 2 weeks i receive a 25 mg risperdal injection (because pills taste fucking bad) for ... my psychiatrist thinks my syanesthetic perceptions are pathological. At first, she wasn't even aware of what synaesthesia was. She seems to have acknowledge it by now, but she wants to keep injecting milk-white substances into my ass. An injection cost 150-200€, and as my legal status changed or something I receive around 300€ gratis every month (formerly, this money was destined to my parents, but well, i'm not really willing to understand what's happening...)

Meantime, i could manage to get an appointment with one of the two guys that are researching synaesthesia in france. He could determine if my perceptions are natural or drug/psychosis induced.

I've just checked my bank account : money is still flowing.

Maybe i should start eating my own poo so as to get MOAAR injections. i could make a living out of it.

good to know. It's a trap then ! They want me to believe i'm paranoid but it's actually a fucking conspiracy !!!!

What's good about being schizo/bipolar/depressed is that your life expectancy is shortened by 25% (or by 9 years, depending on the sources and how good you are treated). So basically, i don't have to care about my pension, since there are a lot of chances that i will not enjoy it. :sorcerer:

and i'm okay with risperdal : my hands are just shaking a bit and i'm still a matchstick.

I am also on antidepressants and drugs for acid reflux.

I've come to the point where i will suffer through the pain of acid reflux if it saves me enough money to buy the other drugs i need/want?, ie pariet and insulin.

god damn.

i don't know any more. as long as i have my insulin. and the reaction of "HOLY FUCK THAT IS EXPENSIVE" that i get every three weeks or so from my pharmacist makes me feel like i am fucked in my tight little asshole for the next forever years.

Logistically speaking, Canada has it more or less figured out. There are a few qualms I have. Firstly, the immigration policy is far too lenient. Now I'm not saying I'm opposed to a little multi-culturalism but at the rate we are letting immigrants into our country, our culture is dying out. First it started with the whole "don't put up christmas trees or decorations and don't say merry christmas" thing. Again don't get me wrong, I'm tolerant to other races but what scares me is that, for example, enough middle-eastern people immigrate who have shockingly closed minded values that they become a majority of the population and eventually end up owning the government. If everything works out fairly then I won't be bothered but people who are raised in a culture with such rigid beliefs have a tough time breaking the mould, and before you know it, it'll be law for women to wear hijabs and people will be getting their hands cut off for stealing.

Apart from all of that, my only real complaint is that the weather where I live is utter shite. That aside, canada rocks! :cisfor:

easy now with the "traps" and conspiracies...risperdal is not inherently bad as a drug...just a little "dirtier" as they say in medicine.

man,

I was joking obviously. I think you're misjudging how crazy i am. I still remember your extreme reaction to the post i wrote when i hadn't slept for 60h. I'm definitively more weird than crazy. That's maybe worse than that : i've been diagnosed as being closed to paranoid schizophrenia on the basis of an "association test" (sorting sentences depending on whether they match your personnality or not)... and the rorschach test which seems to be well criticized (wtf ?). I've never had complex hallucinations, appart from the occasional voices calling your name or IM ghost sounds.

I read once that schizophrenics had a significantly longer lifespan in India than in America. The hypothesis was that the more communal part of Indian society encourages "absorption" and "care-taking" of those who are "crazy". There is also way less access to the drugs that are typically given by Western psychiatrists. Mental illness, out of everything that you can have, is the worst in Western society because you are immediately sent to the margins and mistreated almost as badly inside hospitals as you are on the street. Very complex and disturbing problem.

Word. I've been once in an asylum (because i tried to kill myself).

-There was a kind of retard (he didn't have down syndrome nor was autistic) who had nothing to do in such a place. He had been here for several years because of logistics problems.

-One of the orderly (a woman (with a dried cunt most likely) was a fucking asshole who wasn't enjoying her job at all. When she'd give some liquid drug to the retard, he'd drink it up in a somehow brutal fashion. She'd cringe. always. like if it was the most disgusting thing ever. You could read it on both her face and body. On my first night, i kept the lights on because i wasn't able to sleep and wanted to try reading for a while in order to get tired. That bitch stormed inside my room and fucking yelled at me like if I was in prison or something.

-There was also an indian woman who was pregnant. I think she was there because she was utlra-anxious. As she was too drugged to be able to hold a sheet properly, she'd often ask me if I could tuck her in. I was ok with it, i was even happy to help. But i was quickly told that it was against the rules (rape ! rape ! rape the pregnant woman ! rape !) and that i'd better take care of myself first.

-Hunger. Hunger is terrible. I told them i was ultra skinny, and they weighted me : 59kg for more than 190cm. I didn't get more food.

But those are really just details. The worst thing about psychiatry (i mean when you're locked up) is that everyone tends to make you childish. It's not about what they say, but how they say it. Of course, they are not heartless assholes, but sometimes they can't help it. I don't think they do it because they look down at you, but they have to find a way to communicate with really really stoned/lunatic people so their brain just assume they have to employ some kind "baby-talk" in order to be understood. That shit is depressing.

Man we let just about anyone into our country. I've looked into the uk immigration and without formal education or marrying into the country it's pretty much impossible to get in.

All in all, Canada is overrated.

Behind the curtain of "best country to live" for people living in other countries, hides deep problems at it's roots, going back centuries. A constitution that isn't one really, xenophobia, the famous "two solitudes" that cuts the country in halves, left-wing mentality where only their opinions are worth of discussion, an inexistant English-Canadian culture, our own stupidity in Québec of being too much "bon-vivant" towards our future, etc...
