The thing is, Halle Berry only decided to act in Monster's Ball, and then couldn't get any good roles and decided she wasn't going to even try in any of the shitty ones she did get because she decided she was hot shit.

only batman i ever liked was that cartoon on tv in the 90s with xmen and such.

elaboration: never even seen the comic books in real life. i watched dark night (2008) and i was clearly supposed to be all amped up about seeing batman in the batsuit and the batmobile and how harvey whatshisname twoface came about and the servent dude (alfred?). truth is, i barely remember any of that shit. they're just badly-explained characters foisted at you with the expectation you already cherish them, and will feel warmfuzzynostalgic. or something.

After watching the prestige, inception and all the batmen I'm hoping Nolan would let somebody else write the characters and direct the actors.

He's more interested in the little rules of the "universe he's creating than anything else which result in dismally flawed and pretty boring, non-engaging movies IMO.

With Joseph Gordon-Levitt being in inception, it was a given he would play some sort of role in dark knight

Haha, well in Batman Begins it was gravely, and in Dark knight he took it up a level, so in the new one it will just be a bass rumble when he opens his mouth.
