Oh, and Geogaddi is my fave album by the BoC. Gyroscope still blows my mind, especially if i'm biking around the outskirts of town under the influence...Edmonton is about a 3 hour drive north of Calgary, where BoC grew up for a short period of time...and that's really cool to know when you're high :jedi:

That's an EP

I'd pick Twoism if it was on the list, but that aside Campfire is my favourite. MHTRC is the record I like the least, though it's not bad by any means.

if EP's were included as in a favourite release poll instead of just albums, then i'd say 'A Beautiful Place out in the Country'.

they were at their peak then, imo.

yes, exactly

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

yup

anyway, one vote for new clear dawn.. ehm I mean campfire headphase

It's hard for me to choose because I was introduced to all of the BOC albums except Campfire Headphase together.

Geogaddi definitely stands out though. It's so rich and clever, and I agree it has an attention to detail that is remarkable.

With that said, I absolutely love Campfire too. It's an emotional collection of tracks that sets itself apart from previous BOC work. Showed us that BOC have the ability to diversify themselves. Their use of analogue instruments absolutely worked.

in my opinion (at the moment)

Geogaddi > IABPOITC > MHTRTC > Campfire Headphase > Twoism > Trans Canada Highway > Hi Scores

Geogaddi will always be my favourite by them, but my preference of the rest regularly changes

:boc:

I really like BOC Maxima, but I suppose that wasn't released. It has the Twoism/Hi Scores sound, with the addition of a few more tracks. I wish they'd release a high quality version of all of their old stuff. It could just be in mp3/flac format for all I care.

M9 goes on for too long imo, though.
