Kinect Hacking: Awesome Demo Video

Maybe someone who understands this stuff better might correct me but infrared is a range, so maybe you could have 1 kinect on certain frequency and another in a different one?

what if there were two of them facing each other? then they wouldn't see each others dots?

there are ways to do it that involve pulsing the dots, each camera synchronized so that only one is projecting dots at a time. supposedly you can do this fast enough to still maintain a decent capture framerate.

For Wii: I really don't understand why this hasn't been developed. Seems like xbox/playstation should be capable of the same.

I wonder how it deals with depth, like if you have a bunch of folders open in a stack and you want to select one from the bottom. Still, very cool, even if impractical.
