I'm really looking forward to this album, and the wait and everyday searching of what and waffles reminds me of the good old days when you actually had to wait for the date when your favourite artits new album was released. I like it! It must be really annoing for Mogwai to see their album out on the net three months before the release date, knowing that when the album is actually for sale, the whole buzz is over.

there was nothing good about those days, i think it's annoying for bands to wait half a year before their album is actually released after finishing it cause the label decided so.

it was just perfect with rh's in rainbows, they announced it just a week before the actual release if im not mistaken.

kill record labels, they're irrelevant.

LEAKED

I call bullshit, looked all over the net and found no trace of a leak!

Source?

Yeah, it's only available on What.cd and the tracker is down. Everybody is so close from hearing it. I blame Tim Hecker's computer skills, I'm sure he is responsible for preventing the leak judging by this "coincidental" incident.

The only proof I can provide (within the rules of the forum) is the log file of the flac rip:

  Reveal hidden contents

I highly doubt that, Tim himself was surprised that it's gotten so close to the official release without leaking:

"pretty amazed this thing hasn't leaked yet."

And even if anyone can release a record by themselves these days, Tim Hecker and all the other artists/bands I listen to, still stick to these evil record labels. :cerious:

yeah, this thing is a beauty, easily beats imaginary country.

the quiet transitional pieces, hatred of music 1 and in the air combo stood out after one spin.
