It's not the biggest synthesizer in the world. It's not even 'a synth'. Even if his collection of modules was the biggest, and it's nowhere near, it's a bit like looking at a big pile of bricks and calling it the biggest house in the world.

You've just contradicted yourself there. It isn't a synth. And he didn't demonstrate any polyphonic patches from that modular. Polyphony implies several notes played together of the same timbre. Yes, there's individual polysynths there, but describing what is essentially an eccentric studio with a modular system at the centre as a big polyphonic synth is stretching it a bit and is not partiuclarly unique.

Do you actually believe that what you've just seen in that video is the world's biggest synthesizer? Does anybody else? As explained, it just seems like an eccentric guy with an eccentric studio which in lots of ways is fairly conventional, i.e. a modular system integrated with other synths. There's nothing unique about it. To put it into context SOB was released in 68, which was all 'polyphonic' moog modular, although it was pseudo polyphony as they multitracked the moog(I think). Now maybe, if back in 1969 this guy had some monster modular set up that was playing polyhonic patches, that may be unique but there's absolutely no indication of that in the video. And it wouldn't be that interesting anyway.
