yeh up until recently I was convinced that Stannis wasn't really dead, that Brienne did something like Ripley in Alien 3 with the Monk guy? like hitting the sword into the tree or something. BUT Brienne said she killed him & would suprrise me if she lied on that for some reason...

Doesn't look like it. Being that Riverrun is now occupied by the Lannisters and their puppet Tully and Brienne had to escape, I would guess the agreement is off.

Yeah, or the Tullys will march off next episode and they just left it hanging too keep us hooked.

A few things might be off about the new episodes but Sandor's lines were perfectly in line with his character imo. Remember "Come try me, archer"?

Daeny bowling into the pyramid at the end like "alright chaps" *episode ends*. The pacing is definitely showing it's rough edges this season but they've countered it with some informative stuff that have gone beyond the book.

A lot of scenes seem to leave the viewer picking up the pieces and putting two-and-two together.

There was something really odd about the way she entered the room, like she hoped to catch someone wanking.

I'm pretty sure it was just bad acting.

I've also notced that dialog seems more... contemporary

i noticed that a few episodes back but never payed much attention. it is rather jarring compared to other seasons, but i think it has to do with the wider and wider audiences tuning-in each year, thus the language getting slightly more universal? anywho, that's the extent of the "complaints" i have for this season, really been enjoying it compared to last season...

Yeah it's only getting more contemporary and pandering. Did you see the next preview? Bolton was like YOLO! and then Jon Snow dropped a mic and said "delete yourself"
