oh, i might as well make a serious post in this thread.

i think in general, idm forums have even been pretty beneficial to my social life. i met od++ through xltronic, and he introduced me to a whole bunch of people i would never have met, including my first girlfriend. as for watmm, i've tried to organise some kind of real world meetups, most have been pretty successful. all of the people i've met from the forum so far have been really great (od++, aquagak, alky, vik, delet.., chengod, pigster, betty, dagger, computer, echo, ravedamage, uh i'm sure there are some others, more from xltronic too). and i've had some great exchanges with forum members over the years, secret santa last year and my intercontinental snack exchange with fred mcgriff come to mind. also it's just a good place to talk absolute nonsensical bullshit. and a place where i can get away with saying a lot of things i wouldn't be able to say in real life or even on facebook, zole.

i'm also gonna visit uk next year - i hope to catch up with kaini, kaen and anyone else who is keen to meet up!
